NZ Government Receives Devastating Psychiatric Diagnosis

A leading clinical psychologist has been engaged by a local think tank to evaluate ‘disturbing mental symptoms’ currently being exhibited by the NZ Government.

Professor Samuel Nutt has released his findings following his close observation of the Government’s behaviour over several months, and has arrived at a grim diagnosis.

“Yes, yes, we’ve witnessed really disturbing behaviours over many months now and, following the official definitions, have diagnosed this government as suffering a rather extreme form of psychopathy. Sometimes considered synonymous with sociopathy, psychopathy is characterized by persistent antisocial behaviour, impaired empathy and remorse, together with bold, disinhibited, and egotistical traits.”

“More deeply, symptoms of this disorder include:

  • Boldness (high self-confidence and social assertiveness)
  • Superficial charm
  • Pathological lying
  • Lack of empathy or remorse (including use of cruelty to gain empowerment)
  • Exploitative tendencies
  • Defiance of authority
  • Inclination to violence and manipulation
  • Disinhibition (poor impulse control including problems with planning and foresight, lacking affect and urge control, demand for immediate gratification, poor behavioural restraints), and of course
  • Narcissism”.

“We’ve seen all of these indeed, indeed. Causes in this sad case remain harder to tie down than, say, any individual case which may be found linked to family history, poverty, or parental neglect.”

“Prognosis of those suffering from this disorder is generally poor, and professionally we refer to such individuals as being ‘dangerously batsh*t crazy’. Advice for others is ‘avoid’.”
